The ProNav Angler was designed by fisherman for fisherman. That is why the Angler was designed as a plug and play device! Many fishermen worry about lengthy, difficult installation times for electronic products, but the ProNav Angler is easy to install on or off the water in less than 5 minutes and doesn’t require the use of any tools.

The Angler attaches directly to the trolling motor shaft using a simple clamp and thumb screw. Clamp the ProNav Angler on in the direction that the motor is pointed, and plug it into the existing trolling motor plug for your foot pedal. You can still use your foot pedal by simply plugging it into the ProNav Angler. The final step is to connect the ProNav Angler to the trolling motor power supply. ProNav was designed to work with 12 and 24 volt trolling motor systems.

Once the Angler is connected to your motor and power, it is ready to control via a Bluetooth connection with your smartphone or tablet. This connection can easily be achieved in the ProNav Angler mobile application, available on the Google Play store or iTunes app store. Some fisherman may be deterred from using this sort of technology due to fear that it will be too advanced to learn, but the ProNav mobile application is quick and easy to learn. The application has been designed in a way that is extremely intuitive, and there are many great tutorials about how to use its many features both in the app and online on the ProNav YouTube Channel or www.pronavmarine.com/tutorials.

Use the mobile application to look at maps, plan routes, anchor the boat, and more! The ProNav unit can be left on the motor for use in rain or shine, as the unit is fully waterproof. Your motor does not need GPS or autopilot functionality, and it works seamlessly with a copilot remote or foot pedal.
